In the vineyard
Hand-picked at dawn from low-yielding blocks. We choose growers who farm slowly — old vines, dryland sites, and a real sense of place.
The Series
A small-batch range — made slowly in the Cape, with patience in the cellar and colour on the label.
The Family
Six bottlings — a Rosé, two whites, and three reds — each one expressing a different corner of the Cape.

The Winery
J.FOLK is a quiet South African project working with a tight circle of growers across Stellenbosch, Swartland, Paarl and the surrounding wards. We farm the vineyards we trust and bottle only the parcels we'd be proud to pour at our own table.
Every step from picking to bottling happens under our own roof, in our own cellar — and yes, it's all kosher, supervised end-to-end. We treat that as a discipline, not a headline.
From Vine to Bottle
Hand-picked at dawn from low-yielding blocks. We choose growers who farm slowly — old vines, dryland sites, and a real sense of place.
Whole-bunch pressed for whites, gently extracted for reds. Native ferments where the fruit allows, neutral oak where it doesn't.
Every barrel, hose, and bottling line is supervised end-to-end. Mevushal options on request — without compromising the wine.
Aged on lees or in barrel until it's ready, not until it's needed. Lightly fined, lightly filtered, generously rested before release.
Le'chaim.
